Living the Vida Loca

Summers in the Sonoran Desert is hot, hot, hot. Now with the monsoon, it's hot and humid. What does a person to do?

Well be creative, of course.

I struggle with my breathing this time of year so I am stuck in bed with my keyboard. I may fall asleep in the middle of tasks but at least I can take the time to outline projects and their goals.

Tired, cranky... and sweaty, I sure cannot wait for the monsoon to end so autumn can begin!

I have been ready for autumn since the middle of July. I must not be alone as Halloween marketing is being sold in the craft stores, my friends say. I am ready for Halloween. I am ready for cooler temperatures and longer nights.

Who's not?

It's Hot, Hot, HOT

Welcome to summer in the Sonoran Desert.

We are now descending into autumn. We have to wait another 90 days or so in order to feel autumn but the days from here on out will be getting shorter. Feel the anticipation?

You should.

While you are salivating for the darker side of the year, remember our chapbook called The Descent will be waiting there for you in September:
