Digging Myself Out of the Past

I am giving items away to charity, but first I must compile them.

I have office plastic file contraptions. I have wires to things I don't own anymore. I have shirts and decor and various collected things that collect dust... oh, my!

I am done with the collection. I have a rule: if I don't use it,need it, or look for it in a calendar year.. it's gone. So I have a pick up date with a charity truck next week. Bye-bye stuff! I am tried of housing you.

Organizing My Wires!
Usually, I go through my stores twice a year and see what needs a good heave ho! I have been under the weather for around eighteen months. With this warm winter sprint, I have found enough energy to get a few items checked off my to-do list.

Then Bulk Trash begins on April Fool's Day. More stuff will be sacrificed in the form of weeds, grass, and anything broken or unusable by a charity.

So I will be back to be creative once I return to my minimalist zen.

And, if you can donate to my fundraiser: A Safe Place for Us... I would really appreciate the kindness. Thank you!

Loud and Clear

Wow! I just keep racking it up in the plus column.

I placed a publishing timeline for my future chapbooks on Sonoran Dawn Poetry today. Four books of poetry in the next three years. 2017 will see two publications.

The Descent came out in 2016 with great success.

I look forward to sharing more creative writing next year. I began Sonoran Dawn Studios to explore my creative side, but I began with releasing more nonfiction than anything else. I think I will turn the tables for next year's publishing focus and release more creative writing.

I am seeking to have a balance in my writing publications so every aspect is available to potential readers. I would like to see all my publishing spotlights filled with an array of options.

That is why I chose the independent, self publishing route: I wanted to write my way. Too often agents and publishing houses cram you into one genre or characterization instead of realizing writers write more than one topic. I write from supernatural to science fiction. My poetry is even more diverse!

I hope you enjoy what is coming up next and keep the positive reviews coming!

Have a literary day.

Adding Some More Touches

The menus to the right almost seem to be complete. Or, is it overkill? I can never tell! Just kidding. I have to see if something grows on me. Will I like what I have done in the future?

I have to feel it like all good artists.

Now it is back to editing and writing for my 2017 upcoming releases. A novel or two. A chapbook. Essays and research papers.

Have a literary day!

Happy Flag Week

In the lead up to the next publication, it only seems right to have the red, white, and blue as cover art!

The Descent Chapbook Cover Art

This chapbook cover is all original. No images or public domain clips were used.

And, I love the way this cover art came out!

What do you think?

The Descent is scheduled for release September 16th.

Back to Life

This blog has sat for awhile.

I have reworked some other blogs and created: Sonoran Dawn Studios and Undawnted. The latter is now dedicated to my writings: essays, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction alike. The former is now host to all my housekeeping: credits, bibliography, press paquet, publishing, and scheduling.

That leaves me with a need to express myself artistically.

Now don't fret. My Environmental Illness Activism has not been retired, just readjusted. You will be happy to know that I am now writing books/booklets featuring different topics and Envrionmental Illness is one of those subjects.

I recently published the essay: Gaslighting and the Environmental Illness Patient

A huge hit! I wonder if it is because the PDF is free?! Check out all the links in this post for more information.

I hope you stay aboard and expand your subscriptions into my other blogs as well.

I am happy to have you here!

Have an artistic day!
